Windows Mobile Games

Exobyte began by developing games on the Windows Mobile platform.  Two games were released for Windows Mobile, Plasma Duel and the original Cherry Chaser (pictured left).

Cherry Chaser was released as freeware and was downloaded over 60,000 times.

Plasma Duel is a two player breakout game where players can compete against each other on the same device.  This concept was ahead of its time on Windows Mobile devices due to their lack of multitouch support.  The new Android version will bring the full multiplayer on one device experience that was always intended.

Win32 Prototype code for Elements, a Windows Mobile toy I was working on for a while.  Draw on the screen with your mouse to interfere with the particle flow.

Nova Dawn.  Pre-alpha Win32 version of the game as at 2007. Click on the lower part of the screen to leave the base then use mouse to move around.  You can fire your weapons with the <return> key.  You get given a random vehicle type each time you start the game.  You can get out of your vehicle by stopping and clicking on the green door icon.
