New games for Android

A version of the very successful Windows Mobile game Cherry Chaser is Exobyte's first release on the Android Market.
Cherry Chaser has achieved over half a million downloads so far. The game retains all the features that made it so popular on Windows Mobile and will also add some things that were requested such as a persistent record of credits and multiple currencies. I've also taken the opportunity to update the graphics so that the game looks better overall and suit the higher resolution screens found on modern phones. |

Plasma Duel Arcade Fun!
A future project is a new version of Plasma Duel for Android phones. There are some major updates to this version including different level designs and a built in level editor.
The game will take advantage of Android's multitouch capability to allow two players to play against each other on the same device. For this reason the game will be targeted at tablet devices and Android 2.0 and above. Once Cherry Chaser is finished Plasma Duel will also be ported across to Android and then work will resume on Nova Dawn. |

Nova Dawn Vehicle Combat Game
Development of Nova Dawn began in 2005, the game was developed for two years and reached a quite advanced stage. At that point I suspended development in order to focus on the Windows Mobile version of Plasma Duel.
Nova Dawn offers a top down view of a vehicle which you drive around and the aim is to explore the large map and gather resources in order to gain better equipment and compete with vehicles from other factions. The ultimate goal being to make your own faction the dominant power in the territory. I hope to resume work on Nova Dawn as an Android project in 2012. |

Windows Mobile Games
I have released two games for Windows Mobile.
These are Cherry Chaser and Plasma Duel. Cherry Chaser was released as freeware and has been downloaded over 60,000 times. Cherry Chaser is a fully featured slot machine game with five different feature modes. It is completely free and has proved to be very popular. Plasma Duel is a two player breakout game where players can compete against each other on the same device. This concept was ahead of its time on Windows Mobile devices due to their lack of multitouch support. The new Android version will bring the full multiplayer on one device experience that was always intended. Both games have been released for Windows Mobile and are available on ClickGamer and PocketGear. Cherry Chaser is completely free and Plasma Duel has a very generous free trial. |
